TEMPE, AZ -- Many have said that the New England Patriots could never have too many receivers, but unfortunately it looks like they may have lost one on Sunday.

Branch suffered the injury at the end of the first half while attempting to make a tackle during an interception return by Arizona linebacker James Darling. Branch was accidentally hit by teammate Stephan Neal who dove in to make a play on Darling and instead upended Branch.
The third-year wide receiver missed the rest of the game and didn't return.
Branch finished the game with one catch for 7-yards including a fumble recovery that set up the team's first touchdown.
