Do you want to risk a first round pick on a guy who, even if he pans out, isn't going to offer much production in his first year. High risk and reward in this kid, certainly not great enough to trade up to get.
Pretty sure Sullivan was a Bulldog.

We would likely need to add our 4th to #27 to get 51 and 56, but this seems to be a reasonable idea.

Actually Philadelphia has the 46th and 51st overall draft picks. According to the NFL Draft Pick Trade Chart, the total value of the aforementioned draft selections exceed the value of the 27th overall pick:

#27: 680 points

#46: 440 points
#51: 390 points
Total: 830 points

I like the Reyes pick. Not sure about Perry. In your mock I would take Gilmore then Reyes with our two picks. I'm not one of those who thinks we really need a CB but Gilmore is significantly too good to pass up at that spot.

Did Derek Wolfe and Jake Berqute (sp?) go in the 1st round?

Love every one of your picks up to here. Miami going for Tannehill there would be a reach but I agree with you in the sense that I can absolutely see them doing it to look up a possible future QB. Personally I have them going for Coples int eh first round. They are making the transition on defense from a 3-4 to a 4-3. Need an impact player. Questions on his motor but other than that I like this guy.

Quote:
10. BUF-Reilly Reiff, OT: The Bills were able to address their pass rush needs by getting the best FA in Williams. Now they can address another major need and upgrade a position of real weakness
.

I would have had Reiff going pretty high prior to the combine but that change when his arms came in pretty short. Most teams won't entertain a tackle int he first round with arms any short than 34" and this guys measured in at a measly 33 1/4". That means he's going to play as a RT or a guard and that's way to high for him at either of those positions. Could he make up for the shorter arms with his athleticism? Yes he absolutely could but it's a scare.

Quote:
12. DAL via SEA-Quinton Coples, DE: Dallas makes a small trade up to grab Coples who has slipped. Putting Coples opposite Ware gives the Cowboys an amazing pass rush combination.
No sure how I would rate Coples as a prospective OLB but it could be interesting. He needs to work on that motor though! Probably more of a 4-3 end in my book.

Quote:
15. PHI-Michael Brockers, DT: We all know that the Eagles love to build from the inside out and they stick with that once again. Brockers is young but full of talent and Philly needs help at DT.
Totally see this happening but think he has more bust potential in a scheme like this. Needs to be in a more conventional two-gap style of defense. If he fell i think the Patriots would fall in love with him. No explosiveness in this guy what so ever though.

Quote:
22. CLE-Michael Floyd, WR: Floyd slips a bit and the Browns are happy to scoop him up. Floyd runs great routes, is tough to defend and catches everything. He is just great value here
This would be a dream pick for the Browns and could see it happen!

Quote:
24. PIT-Dont’a Hightower, ILB: Hightower to the Steelers is a perfect marriage. He fits their system perfectly and after the release of Farrior the Steelers have a major need at the position.
These guys have a massive number of needs. Could see them go O Line, D Line, Linebacker....think he presents very good value for them here.

Quote:
27. NE-Nick Perry, OLB: They finally did it, they take an OLB early to appease the masses. Perry is a little stiff, but he is an explosive pass rusher with the size that Belichick wants from his OLB.
Love this pick here. I'm high on Perry since he came iin at the combine and weighed in with 20 lbs of extra muscle. He has the tools despite the concerns about his upper body length. Guy has bulked out too when I didn't think he could. Excellent pad level, dips his pads and turns the corner well...got the speed...could be an impact player at the DE spot and potentially play an elephant role..although not the biggest fan of his hips and movement!

Quote:
32. NYG-Coby Fleener, TE: The TE position is expanding more and more and Fleener is a matchup problem similar to what Rob Gronkowski has done for the Patriots, another weapon for Eli and the gang.
Had this guy going to the Giants ever since the Super Bowl. Love him...excellent pro day. He'll make Manning even more deadly. Perfect hybrid fit here.

If I were to pick a DLman in the first round, he'd have to be more than a "run stuffer" Ideally a guy like Cox, but he's not going to be there.
HT WT Arm 40 SS Cone Rep Vert

Kendall Reyes 6037 299 33.25 4.79 4.53 7.43 36 34.5

Fletcher Cox 6035 298 34.5 4.79 4.53 7.07 30 26

They're not all that different. Cox is the more fluid and has longer arms, Reyes is more explosive and stronger. As Cox won't be there, I don't think Reyes is too bad an alternative at all.

LOL! I had Wolfe at 7 to the Jags and Bequette to the Dolphins at 8 but then the trade scenario happened and they slipped. Weird.

Maybe it's just because I've been following a zillion different mock drafts...but your analysis for each pick almost seems verbatim to other site's mock drafts.
