A lot of mocks have us taking a CB(McKelvin,DRC) or OL (Alberts) at 7.

This is not value at seven. Pats always take value or BPA.

Trade up for someone you Love! Trade down for value.

I have to imagine we will take a big D Line or Rivers if we stay or trade up. Cannot have enough of these as they are rare.

Trade down then comes cb or OL.

Cannot wait for Draft!!!!! and sick of seeing mocks with people we will not take.

If we can't trade down we may have no choice but to take a player who doesn't fit need or value. Obviously trading down makes sense but it takes two to tango.

The Ellis stuff could be a smokescreen to get the Bengals to trade.

Couldnt agree more. Theyre just making it known that they understand his talent and imo, are basically confirming his worth, even though Im sure the other teams understand he really doesnt fit the NE Dline profile. Laying the ground work and covering all their bases with a guy who's going to have high value to someone if he falls to 7.
