I like everyone of these players. Drafting Albert at 13 is different than drafting him at #7. My preference would be for Clady or Williams, whichever is on the board, over Albert, because they have more potential (IMO) at LT. But so be it. If this happened I would be happy as a pig in ******.

BTW- I like that you have the players coming off the board in a realistic way, just ahead of their draft projections. While the trade down is an ideal situation, which some may find fault with, where each player is selected is very realistic.

I like the players, not sure about all the trades. I think if they were wheeling and dealing like that a couple of the picks would be for 2009, that is usually their MO.

The roster would look pretty good after a draft like that.

Especially with probably needing some ammo to go and target Rey from USC and James from OSU

Not a bad mock, position wise.
I'd like to see us draft some good Tight Ends though.

I'm not sure Carolina would give up so much to move up in round 1.

Yes, typically their MO, but they should have an abundance of picks next year when you consider the likely compensatory selections. No need for 13-14 picks next year. More likely would be to package some of these acquired 2008 picks (and their own) to move up in some rounds. JMHO.

I think the idea of trading down with Carolina is very realistic. I think we can get their 2nd. Not sure about the 5th. Also, I don't think Ryan last until 7. That said, I think you were very realistic in whom to pick. I don't have any problems with any of the players you have noted. I can scratch that extra 4th and 5th from your list and still think it's a productive day.

If Albert plays G, do you think L.Mankins could move to RT?

CAR gives up way too much for Ellis. Why would they want him that badly? I could see them making that trade for our #7 if Ryan is on the board and they are in love with him. But not sure a team gives up that much for a DL who isn't top 3 talent.

Pats have always valued DL. I believe the Panthers do too. Drafted J.Peppers very high. Don't forget they traded K.Jenkins. Could use a stud at DT to replace him. And, in a copy-cat league given the Giants success other teams will too.

Even though the trades didn't work out for either team. The Jets gave up a lot more than that to move up and take D.Robertson, and the Saints did the same for J.Sullivan. I don't think a 2nd is out of the ordinary for moving up that many slots.
