Didn't Gholston already do really, really well at the combine?
So what were the pro day results then?

Ok here are some combine stats:

Comparisons:

Long:
40: 4.75 (7th best)
Bench: DNP
Vert: 34" (3rd best)
Broad Jump: 10'4" (2nd best)
3-cone: 7.02 (4th)
20 Yd Shuttle: 4.21 (best)

Gholston:
40: 4.67 (3rd best)
Bench: 37 (best)
Vert: 35.5 (best)
Broad Jump: 10'5" (best)
3-cone: 7.12 (8th best)
20 Yd Shuttle: 4.4 (7th best)

Gholston's 37 reps could make the hulk green with envy.

After watching CB Mike Jenkins at the USF Pro Day, Bucs defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin came away saying "Man, this kid is something else."

The Bucs could use a No. 2 or No. 3 corner to play with Ronde Barber and Phillip Buchanon. "He can play man and he's got great man skills," Kiffin said of Jenkins. "We always talk about the Tampa 2. But...I can't teach speed. You can't teach a guy who runs a 4.8 to run a 4.3. He's a special guy."

Vern isn't coming here because we are not picking #7 unless one of the elite 5 falls there .. even then a sweet trade will be too tempting.
