Default Rich Gosselin's Top 10

Our favorite(and best) draft analysis around had an article in yesterday's paper with his top 10. Interesting no D.McFadden.

McFadden is #2 from where I sit

No shockers, although no OT (the position I would like) other than Long and no CB (what a lot of people like).

If these were the Pats ratings and the top six were gone I imagine we'd be looking at Harvey.

Gosselin's post-combine top 10:

1. Matt Ryan
2. McFadden
3. C. Long
4. G. Dorsey
5. J. Long
6. V. Gholston
7. S. Ellis
8. D. Harvey
9. R. Mendenhall
10. K. Rivers

Remember, Gosselin's rankings are not based on his own analysis, but on conversations with sources around the league. He boasts that he doesn't even bother to watch these players play.

Gosselin actually makes an error regarding D. Harvey. He says Harvey would have e tered the draft after his sophomore season if he could have. That is incorrect. Harvey redshirted his true freshman year, and his "soph" season was actually his 3rd year removed from highschool, which made him eligible for the draft at the time. He chose to return after the NChampionship for his own reasons.

Sunday morning brain cramp. Too many Diet Pepsi's last night. Really. If his scenario plays out. I think someone would love to trade up for S.Ellis. Maybe Carolina since they traded K.Jenkins and have extra picks. Chicago could use him too. Run D was terrible. I'd be satisfied with Gholston or a trade down. Not sure any of cb's worthy of 7 pick overall.

Right. Every season I post his mocks and top 100. Unfortunately, we have to wait 'till April. But he will come out with his positional rankings before then -- which will be of some interest.
