Default Is Dominique Rodger-Cromartie Worth the #7 Pick?

Let's say we can't find anyone wanting to give us a fair deal for the #7 pick, would you be alright with taking Cromartie?

Yes?

No?

Depends on who else is available?

Lets say all the good defensive players (Gholston, Long, etc.) are gone, would you rather have Cromartie or McFadden?

Cromartie or Gholston?

Cromartie or Long?

Jenkins or Cromartie?

p.s. Yes I understand this isn't the draft forum, BUT it is the offseason, and I don't see any threads not based on Moss or Spygate.

Yes. And I've been secretly hoping the Pats would see the same.

With a little more muscle and a bit of coaching, this guy could be the next Cromartie. And boy isn't that worth a #7 pick.

wasn't he considered a late 2/early 3rd round prospect?

I'm wary of players who skyrocket at the combine.

Is he worth the #7? No

I think asante was an above average cb, and our system made him look great, i guess next year i'll see if i'm right.

And Brady was a 6th rounder. If Rodgers-Cromarter adds about 20lbs of muscle this off-season, he's going to be on-par with Cromartie at CB. You can hold me to that.

There's no way the Pat's spend #7 on Cromartie, the ideal situation at this point is to trade down and get some more picks. I honestly don't understand why so many people on this board are in love with Rodgers-Cromartie, i feel he is being vastly overhyped.

Really? And what airtight evidence do you got to support that position, fella?

don't get me wrong, everything I've herd sounds good, but not worthy of a #7 pick. I'd be happy if he ended up on our roster though.

It will be difficult to trade down to get any real value, because of the cost of the high first round draft picks these days.

Whats the chances our #7 pick holds out all preseason if we draft there?

McKelvin remains the best CB in the draft, for now.

But according to NFLDC, DRC is not far behind.

I want the Pats to do whatever they can to land Ro-Cromartie. If it's #7, I will be jumping around my living room like a kangaroo in glee, if they trade down a few spots and he's still there and we take him, fine, however, whatever they have to do to get this stud, I don't care.

This guy can return kicks, return punts and will be the next Deion Sanders. Mark my words on that, he will be the next Deion Sanders, a virtual TD waiting to happen. Just like when A-Cromartie picks a ball like he did in the Colts game. The fans crapped their drawers because they knew when he got out in the open field it was 6, and sure enough it was.

He is a pure-bread if I've ever seen one, just like Deion. I remember watching Deion for the first time at FSU and I remember watching what he did on the field athletically he had gazelle-like speed, the graceness of a cat, he was so smooth and he just got you out of your seat. This is Rodgers-Cromartie, this guy will not only be a stud lockdown corner and a fantastic kick returner. This guy is destined for greatness. He's an Antonio Cromartie/Deion Sanders ball of clay that has been molded, mixed together and formed. Some mocks already have him as the #1 corner and the others will follow, they're just a tad behind.

Do you know how Chargers fans feel about Antonio? Well that is going to be us if we take this guy. Please BB take this stud, I'm begging you. He not only solves our #1 CB issue, he solves our KR issue. Two issues resolved with one pick.
