Default 2nd Round RB

Ok. we passed on Ingram. Im over it i guess. Im fine as long as we end the 2nd round with either of these guys.

Ryan Williams
Mikel LeShoure
Kendall Hunter
Taiwan Jones (almost 99% certain BB would never pick him)

I don't know about the 2nd round, but....
Delone Carter
Stevan Ridley
Both are in their crosshairs

Given that we didn't pick up anyone in the 1st round to solidify our D-line or contribute a pass rush personally I'd prefer if we left the RBs to the 3rd round and later. I've got my fingers crossed that BB will grab a pass rushing OLB (Brooks Reed maybe?) and maybe a D-line player in the 2nd. Its been said a lot but its worth repeating that while there is little high end talent at RB in this draft there is a lot of late round depth so I think it makes sense to hold out and draft a RB later

I doubt we see a RB before we see another OL (inside), DL, or OLB taken. BB has surprised me before but RB would seem fairly low on the priority list for the Pats.

I like Ridley with 3b or 4th. And, I think we can get a vet in free agency such as Ronnie Brown or D'Angelo Williams(doubt it but my preference).

If you read this thread (Live from gillette with updates) you will come to know that Fears himself talked highly about Williams, Thomas, and Murray. I expect one of them to be selected in the 2nd round.

I'd be happy with Ryan Williams at 56.

Ryan Williams + 2012 1st > Mark Ingram
