Do you really believe Kraft and BB will fork out guaranteed millions to a guy that makes bad decisions. Last year the #10 pick received 5 yr $28 mill $17.5 mill guaranteed. #17 received 5 yr 18.25 mill $10.8 mill guaranteed.

Hankerson would be a wtf. Muhammed wilkerson too would be. He seems highly rated here, but other sites, not so much....more raw than anything else.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt...if they draft heyward at #17, then they must think he'll be great here..

This got me to thinking:

1. Is there a realistic chance of a WTF? moment at 17 this year or do you feel our needs are obvious and the number of realistic picks is relatively small ?

2. If there is a WTF? moment at 17 who do you think it might be ? Is there a running back, safety, WR or whatever who would represent good value in BB's eyes and may be worth a 17 to the coach. Could he stick with the OLB/DE/OL positions but pick someone who others had going lower ?

A QB or a TE at #17 would be a WTF for me. And if we moved up to #5 and took Miller, that would be a WTF for me as well.

While some actually predict the Pats to draft him at #17...I think my WTF player would be JJ Watt

I don't think Watt will be anywhere near a stud in the NFL....My gut feeling

Look at the watch while it goes back and forth. On the count of 3 you will come out of this trance and will be ready to go out and buy a JJ Watt authentic jersey.

Did it work?

He certainly did make a bad decision. He accepted gifts from an agent which is a broken rule. Not a crime. It's not like he was smoking crack with a 12 year old kid or beating up his girlfriend in his dormitory. Maybe gouging a players eyes out on the field is ok since it was on the football field?

I'd let BB do the interviewing and background checks to see if he checks out. Personally I'm not going to hold it against him when we all know this kind of thing has been going on since the booster clubs were invented. He's owned up to it and that's about all he can do at this point. The rest is up to BB and his evaluation. Your right they may stay a thousand miles away from him. I'd be willing to wager besides Bush and Quinn there are upwards of 50+ kids {and thats being conservative} that are taking handouts. They just happened to get caught, some possibly playing for the Pats right now. You just don't know. But since he caught he is undraftable.

Cornerback. Afterwards BB will be highly circumspect about the pick but when the season starts he will be playing safety. Felger and Boges and the rest of the Jackals in the Press will howl after the pick (always a good sign).

It makes PERFECT sense. And it's a very good point.

Ingram would be an AWFUL mistake, nothing against Ingram.

The others would fall into the "In Bill We Trust" camp, not without a LOT of cringing.
