You may want him but do the Patriots? We only get a peephole evaluation of these guys so it is hard to judge them and very hard to see how the Patriots ranks them. The video is a bit of a red flag but the Patriots factor in a lot of things...the most important thing being his on-field production. Some of the sacks in the video were junk sacks where the QB stepped out of the pocket and Smith got lucky.

All I'm saying is that it's pretty myopic to expect an intelligent man like Coach Bill to be turned off by a prospect having a well rounded perspective on the world...And, indeed, I would expect that to be a point in his FAVOR, with an intelligent man like Coach Bill: A broad view of the world does not impinge on focus and intensity, but in fact enhances it.
