Default Strong Reports on a Denver-Houston trade almost inevitable

I heard on Sirius Radio today then also read an article from Lance Zierkin of the Houston Chronicle that Denver and Houston will be doing a trade in the first round of the draft.

Denver is expected to move up to Houston's #10 spot so that they can grab Patrick Willis before San Francisco has a chance at #12 whom they are expected to pick and to which Willis reportedly is the most highly coveted player by Shanahan in the 1st round and would make sense since Al Wilson has Retired.

In exchange for the #10 spot Denver would have to give up its #21 and #56 second round pick and possibly a 4th or 5th rounder as well.

Looks like a very possible situation and would make tons of sense with both teams,After all,Denver is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball but lack LB
depth while Houston is weak everywhere and needs lots of draft help including extra picks.

Wins for both sides and Denver is the most suspected team of trading up whether its with the Texans or elsewhere but they won't sit at 21,Thats almost a definite.

There are also strong reports of the Broncos having a deal in place to move to Carolina's spot (14?) to select a DE (Carriker or Anderson) ahead of Pittsburg, who are thought to crave a DE.

There are also strong reports of Denver trading three to four picks over two years to Detroit for Calvin Johnson.

im worried if they want Willis or Landry..Landry would be a good fit since Lynch is tailing off and Willis might replace Wilson.

Denver is expected to be drafting a LB which IMO is their biggest weakness,Therfore I see no major blockbuster move for a WR nor a DE,The best LB 'on paper' is Willis so there it is.

LB is a strength for them..Gold and Williams are very good..they need to replace Wilson though

WR is not a need..correct

DE is. They dont have a pass rusher and they've been looking through FA last few years(Abraham,Kerney) but didnt land any of them.

Okoye would be a nice fit for them but if CJ doesnt go to Bucs..Okoye probably will.

I think Willis would be an awesome pick for the Broncos,Lynch is still good and Denver might grab a Safety or CB later whichever round they may have remaining if they give up a few picks.

A second round pick to move up that far seems low to me.

I really hope the Broncos don't get Patrick Willis. I really like him, and he would be a terror in that defense, and NE already has a hard time going against that defense.

It almost looks as if Denver is looking to make a big move just for the sake of making a big move.

Denver released Wilson in part so they could move DJ Williams to the middle. If this trade goes down, I'll bet it's a precurser to moving up to #2 for CJ.
