Maybe BB can talk Purdue into taking the Patriots' third-rounder in 2011.

A couple of people mentioned Evan Royster in a different thread. He looked slow as molasses today against Youngstown St. He'll never make it in the NFL with his lack of speed. On a brighter note, PSU Frosh QB Robert Bolden looked good. I know it was against an inferior opponent. But, the kid just arrived on campus this summer. No redshirt. No early-enrollee. File the name away in your databanks. 2014 Draft.
I'm all for this. I didn't get to see the game (was out of town all weekend), but I've seen him play before, and I love his motor. He changes directions really, really well for a guy who's supposed to be athletically limited. Good player; I'd take him with our second 2nd rounder on.
I'm keeping my eye on DeMarco Murray this year. Mainly because I'm a big OU fan (I think they ill have a mediocre year) but also because I'd like to see us land a good running back.
I thought LSU's DT Drake Nevis was the most impressive prospect over the weekend. Incredible burst off the line. He was a monster out there. He's generally thought to be a 3rd to 5th round prospect, but if he keeps this up he'll be going in round 1. I didn't like what I saw out of Boise State's OT Nate Potter. He's thought to be a borderline 1st rounder. I hear he's a great athlete, but he looked slow and beatable off the line. I can't see him as a LT in the pros if this is how he plays.
Incredible performance against Notre Dame, and basically all of 2009. Can definitely rush the passer (rip and dip, spin, bull, he has it all) although I'm not sure I've ever seen him play with his hand up.
Coverage would take some time for him to learn, but pass rush is a selling point for me.
