Default Patriots Daily Interview with Clemson WR Jacoby Ford

Jacoby Ford ran track at Clemson, reaching All-American status in the 100 meters and national championship status in the 60 meters. In prep school he was timed under 4.2 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Despite his many accomplishments on the track, Ford will tell you that, first and foremost, he’s a football player. The dynamic receiver/returner/occasional passer took some time between workouts to discuss his skills, his family, and his hopes for a future in the NFL.

Gotta like that interview. He might be a good option if McCluster is off the board.

He's a better option than McCluster if McCluster is still on the board. If BB drafts that smurf my head will explode. How is a 170# frame going to hold up to the abuses of the nfl? I don't care how fast he is, size does matter to a point, and he has absolutely none of it. It isn't like he is Jones-Drew small, short with a solid core/legs. He is just all around small.

And frail. Can't you just see a LB, CB, or Safety lining him up in their sights!

Nah...I see Al Davis bidding against himself for both of them.

Woolster - DeSean Jackson says HI and he'd like to remind you that one doesn't have to be 200 lbs to be successful.

No. Size doesn't matter to a point..DeSean Jackson is 5'10 and 175 lbs. Eddie Royal is similarly built.. So is Percy Harvin. So is Wes Welker.

Oh, and before you mention Welker's injury, remember that his was a non-contact injury caused by bad footing on the Houston field.

So, please take your silly stereotype and get educated or something.. Sheesh.

No. Because you can't hit what you can't touch..

Also, please see my post regarding Jackson, Harvin, Royal, and Welker.
