Absolutely! I have never seen anyone play the nose and eat double and triple teams like this kid does and does with ease.

Besides Terrence Cody, what about Dan Williams? Problem. If you don't draft him in the first round, he won't last long enough in the second round. Again, nose tackles are in demand now.
Al Woods of LSU could be a late round 3-4 NT type. But just like Brace is learning now, he will have to learn to stay low. Low man wins.

What happened to Mt Cody dropping? Does this mean McClain is dropping?

Haynesworth could play the nose, he would be awesome on the nose.

Do Myron Pryor and Darryl Richard have potential at nose tackle? Or are they being thought of longterm more as defensive ends. They're too heavy, though.

Damn Ron Brace...

Why is Mt. Cody better than Wilfork, because Mt.Cody does not get blown off the ball by lowly double teams.
College double teams. Hardly the same as double teams from two players of NFL caliber. Which in itself isn't the same as a double team from two players of NFL playoff caliber.

I'm not a football technique expert, but if you're going to correct me then please give your reasoning:

First play of the game is always going to be tricky, especially in the trenches. I'm thinking of things like hand position, special moves, footwork, body angles and positions.

Did Wilfork get obliterated? Yes, he did. Is this a regular thing for him? Hardly...

Haynesworth is the perfect 3-technique tackle. He shouldn't play the nose in a 3-4, it doesn't suit him in the slightest. The guy is 6'6, meaning that that the opposing linemen will generally be able to get underneath him and drive him off the ball. Casey Hampton is 6'1, Vince Wilfork is 6'2, Kelly Gregg is 6'0. I will concede however, in that in my research I found that both Kris Jenkins and Shaun Rogers are 6'4...and both weigh 350lbs plus.

Is it really worth Haynesworth putting on all that weight? To match their build he'd need to add about 30lbs, I don't think he has the right build at the moment. You don't see any skinny nose tackles. Surely it's a crazy idea. It'd make far more sense, in a 3-4, to treat like him like Haloti Ngata and line him up at DE on regular downs.

Cody aint dropping boys and girls. This is just the OP's hope or wish, based on absolutely nothing concrete. As Ochmed said, that must mean the McLain is also dropping???

Size can't be taught, technique can. If Cody is available for any of our second round picks I think we have to pounce on him.

So nice of you to be willing to draft Cody 20 places after the spot ihe is likely to be picked.
