Default Which Player Would get The Most 2009 Reps

We have lots of picks to focus on future needs. Perhaps ONE player will provide immediate help. Which player do you think would get the most 2009 reps?

MG's LIST
Britton
Laurinitis
Maualuga

I don't list the safeties since I think that with our five corners, there will be plenty of defensive backs our there before we put in the backup safety.

you would think Britton, solely because of the position he plays allows for a smoother transition from the college to the pro level

Lauranitis by a country mile. Despite the posters here envisionng problems on the OL in a few years and want to draft and groom a guy there is no need for Britton in 2009. I wouldn't even draft him as he is a pure RT. Even with injuries, the reserves would play.

Mauluga is a two-down specialist who would take a long time to play more than a handful of plays.

Lauranitis would start to be groomed as a team captain and play caller. So he would be getting garbage time reps, even if Guyton is the starter and that is not certain, at all. If Bruschi is the starter, he needs to be in a rotation to pace himself, hence giving Lauranitis the reps. Guyton's status as a starter is the most tenuous of all the "starters".

I would've said Delmas before we stocked up on DBs. Before Rodney's injury, the nickel consisted of 3 safeties.

A top interior lineman could instantly become the #1 backup to 3 different positions. Realistically, that guy is immediately important and likely to see significant reps.

A top punter could see every rep.

At ILB, Mayo & Guyton seem to have sent this board into a 180. Remember how this time last year, it was common knowledge that Pats ILB is a complex, slow-learning position where you can't count on rookies at all? Now we're all calling it the perfect place for a draftee to get reps from day 1. I'm not ready to go that far.

Britton will immediately start for the Eagles.

Laurinaitis will start out as a reserve LB for Seattle in the second round.

Maualuga will become Cincinnati's new star in the second round.

The nickel only consists of three safeties when there is no corner good enough to play nickel.

Barirng an injury to a starter, why would an interior offensive lineman get a lot of reps, except in garbage time?
