Mike Reiss of ESPN pointed out on Friday that after being waived by the Seattle Seahawks, Mike Teel (@MTeel14) recently tweeted "Hello New England".

Teel, 24, was a sixth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2009.  He didn't play at all last season, and served as the team's No. 3 quarterback.

Ian Rapoport reports that the Patriots have claimed him off of waivers, with his agent Neil Schwartz telling him, “He’s excited.  A good opportunity.”

In other news the team announced the release of TE Robbie Agnone and QB Jeff Rowe.
