ESPNBoston.com reported on Wednesday that The University of Massachusetts and University of New Hampshire will play a football game at Gillette Stadium in both 2010 and 2011.
According to the report the 2010 game will take place Saturday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. with the 2011 game on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Tickets for the 2010 game initially will reportedly be made available to all UNH, UMass and Patriots season-ticket holders. Fans who may be looking at an opportunity to experience a game at Gillette may want to see if the ticket prices are a bit more affordable when they become available. One would have to believe the face value should be considerably less than a Patriots game, although no word yet as to whether or not the parking fees will be any less expensive.
It should be quite an experience. If you've never been to a college sporting event it's a different evironment, with plenty of energy and intensity. 68,000 screaming college football fans cheering on a game like this should make it a lot of fun to say the least.
