With 49 states being represented, The Hall at Patriot Place had been just one state away from being visited by fans from every state in the US.
Not anymore.
Less than two days after it was announced that South Dakota was the only state yet to have a resident visit the first-of-its-kind sports and entertainment experience in Foxborough, Mass., a South Dakotan has checked in.
The Patriots announced that Jezelle Ryan of Sioux Falls, S.D. was visiting family in Marblehead, Mass. Friday when a colleague at home called to tell her to race to Patriot Place. Ryan, a student at the University of Minnesota, collected her prize (an autographed helmet by Adam Vinatieri) and toured The Hall with her family.
According to the press release other South Dakota residents have come forward claiming they had visited the Hall in the past, but Ryan is the first to have officially registered her visit.
