The Patriots play the New Orleans Saints tonight at 7:30 EST. The game, best said 'as a measuring stick' by Jerod Mayo, should be a good one. You can watch the game on WBZ or on NFL.com (You have to pay for a subscription though).
Things to Watch:
- If the line can hold up without Logan Mankins
- How rookies like Brandon Spikes and Jermaine Cunningham affect the defense
- Aaron Hernandez is who I'm watching closely. Randall Gay has loads of praise about him and he's had a great camp
- Wes Welker and his routes/turning I'm not so sure about Welker playing after listening to Mike Reiss. He hasn't participated in live tackling yet and it does make sense for BB to hold him out
