Mike Florio posted an update on the league's cap room situation on ProFootballTalk as of August 15th, he included all 32 NFL teams.
After a shortened and chaotic free-agent period, keeping track of the Pats salary cap is a difficult task. Luckily, Florio and the ProFootballTalk crew have done the leg work. Greg bedard of the Boston Globe tweeted on Tuesday that he had confirmed the reported salary cap number for the Pats -
"League source confirmed @ProFootballTalk's cap number for Patriots is correct: $9.2 million under as of Monday."
Here are the AFC East's cap room numbers as of Monday (Keep in mind all salary numbers are under the cap):
Patriots - $9.2 million
Jets - $9.4 million
Bills - $24.6 million
Dolphins - $9.6 million
