According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, linebacker Dane Fletcher suffered a torn ACL during New England's 7-6 win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night.
That's a tough break for the Patriots linebacker who had shown so much potential toward the end of last year and was trying to build on it for this season. He finished with 32 tackles in 10 games last season and started Thursday night's game at inside linebacker.
The goal in any preseason game is to try and escape each one healthy, and unfortunately it looks like they've been dealt their first blow of this preseason.
