The Patriots followed up yesterday's visit by Cleveland Browns free agent Matt Roth with another by Raheem Brock on Wednesday, and the veteran defensive lineman sounded pretty happy about things went.
According to his Twitter account, Brock said he had a "great" workout today, and is now pondering what he's going to do.
"Had a great workout today! ......Decisions ....Decisions....Decisions..."
From all reports, New England was his only scheduled visit for today.
Brock is a former 7th round draft pick from the 2002 draft class by Philadelphia, but after being cut spent the majority of his career in Indianapolis from 2002-2010. He then joined the Tennessee Titans in August last year before being cut and spending the season with the Seahawks.
He's certainly a guy in need of a clean start judging by the year he's had. Off the field, the last year has been somewhat of a mess for him. He was reportedly arrested for DUI back on November 13, 2010, and was also arrested just a couple of months ago for walking on a $27 bar tab.
However, on the field, the guy certainly appears as though he can play. The 34 year old played in 16 games last season and finished with 9 sacks, 3 passes defensed, and a forced fumble.
So it sounds like the Patriots want him if he has to "decide" what he's going to do. The question for now is just, of the teams that are making him an offer, which uniform he wants to wear.
