Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald reports that rookie quarterback Ryan Mallett has reached an agreement with the team.
Rapoport reports that the 3rd round pick out of Arkansas has agreed to a 4-year contract, although the terms of the agreement haven't been disclosed.
Mallett Tweeted a little while ago, "Headed to sign my contract. I can't wait to get out there. #blessed #livingmydreams". You can follow Malletton Twitter - if you're not already - at @Ryan_Mallett_15.
The agreement makes Mallett the fifth rookie under contract, leaving just four more before they have all of their draft picks signed.
