It appears that if you can't make it to the stadium, if you have Verizon FIOS and a 3D television you'll be able to have an experience that's close to it.
Verizon released a statement on Wednesday that announced they'll be carrying a broadcast of New England's preseason matchup against the New York Giants on September 2nd in 3D, which will be available to those fans out there that own one of those televisions, along with a set of glasses. For those fans who don't, Verizon also announced in their statement that they'll be holding two events to help fans experience it if they'd like.
"In support of the 3D broadcast, Verizon will host customer viewing parties at New Meadowlands Stadium and at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.," Verizon said in a press release. "Guests at Gillette Stadium will include youngsters from local Boys and Girls Clubs of America."
