According to published reports, the Patriots have released linebacker Tully Banta-Cain this afternoon.
So far this season Banta-Cain had 10 Solo tackles and three assisted, along with three sacks.
Banta-Cain's release comes just a day after head coach Bill Belichick benched linebacker Adalius Thomas for what was reportedly done because of the veteran's lack of production so far this season.Β With this second move it appears there is a shake up coming at this position, so we'll have to wait and see what transpires.
