The Patriots just reported via their Twitter channel that former Patriot Joe Andruzzi will be one of the cancer survivors participating in this weekend's "Relay for Life" at Gillette Stadium. Andruzzi has managed to win a remarkable battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that advances with such haste that it can double in size in just 24 hours.
For anyone looking for more on Andruzzi's battle, be sure to read this terrific feature on him from last year at SI.com
