I have been lax in my reporting for the upcoming College All-Star games.\u00a0 The Hula Bowl has already occurred, the East West Shrine game is on Tuesday and the Senior Bowl is on Saturday of this week. \u00a0\u00a0I will blame it on the Patriots Cinderella playoff run to Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n

Hula Bowl \u2013 Was played earlier this month.\u00a0 The Patriots were linked to two players and reportedly had interviews with them.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Linebacker Shad Banks played for University of Texas San Antonio and the 6\u20191\u201d 230-pound Linebacker ran a 4.45 40-yard dash.\u00a0 He also showed up on Bruce Feldman\u2019s Freak List at #77.\u00a0 This list is for players that have freakish workout numbers.<\/p>\n

Cornerback Jaden Ross from Texas State is a tall 6\u20193\u201d, 190-pound Cornerback.\u00a0 He is described as a bump and run CB.\u00a0 However, his speed is a question with an estimated 4.58 40-yard dash.<\/p>\n

East West Shrine Practices<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When a player gets mentioned by multiple sources you need to pay attention.\u00a0 Florida State DT Darrell Jackson was the standout of Day 1.\u00a0 The 6\u20195\u201d 337-pound DT runs and estimated 5.05 40.\u00a0 No one could stop him one -on-one.\u00a0 The Patriots don’t need a DT, but do you draft the best player available despite positional needs?\u00a0 I have seen Jackson going as high as the 3rd round.<\/p>\n

The star of the week has been Iowa slot\/returner Kaden Wetjen who couldn\u2019t be guarded during one-on-ones and reminds me of another former Hawkeyes return extraordinaire Tim Dwight.\u00a0 When Antonio Gibson went down with his knee injury, the Patriots Kickoff returns have been anemic.<\/p>\n

TE Lake McRee USC 6\u20195\u201d. 24-pound, 4.65e<\/p>\n

QB Cade Klubnik 6\u20192\u201d. 210-pounds 4.65e.\u00a0 He is too short for my taste.<\/p>\n

C Pat Coogan Indiana\u00a0 6\u20195\u201d, 310-pound 5.2e.\u00a0 I have Coogan as a Patriots Draft Pick.\u00a0 I like his position versatility being able to play both Guard and Center.\u00a0 The National Champion was the Offense Player of the Game in the Rose Bowl National Semifinal domination of Alabama.<\/p>\n
