Some news and notes on this Monday:<\/p>\n

1) This will be a big week for the Patriots, with the club currently just over 24 hours away from paring its roster down to 53, having already parted with 14 players following their 42-10 blowout loss in New York Thursday night.<\/p>\n

They added one more yesterday after Layden Robinson<\/strong>, who was part of the 2024 Patriots Draft<\/strong><\/a> class, was waived with an injury designation.<\/p>\n

That currently brings the number down to 74, with the Patriots sitting with 75 on their roster thanks to the international exemption they have for David Olajiga<\/strong>.\u00a0 They’ll certainly have some interesting decisions to make, but the fact that Robinson’s now gone adds some frustration to a draft class that hasn’t quite panned out too well.<\/p>\n
