This should be easy. There is very little Good to report from this game.\u00a0 The Patriots should just burn the video tape of this game.\u00a0 I have a list of bubble player later and perhaps one player showed enough to be worth keeping.<\/p>\n

The Good<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ben Woolridge<\/strong> had a nice pass to Jeremiah Webb<\/strong> for a TD.\u00a0 He dropped the ball in the bucket in the end zone.<\/p>\n

Patriots Cam Riley<\/strong> recovered a fumbled punt inside the 20.<\/p>\n

Keon White<\/strong> was a surprise participant in this game and he made the most of it.\u00a0 He had a very good pressure and on another play he contained the QB and forced a Jack Gibbens<\/strong> sack.<\/p>\n

Jabrill Peppers<\/strong> also played and Coach Vrabel in his post-game interview stated that he wanted to see Peppers and Craig Woodson<\/strong> play together in a game.<\/p>\n

Kyle Dugger<\/strong> played and had 6 tackles, many of which were hard open field hits. He might have played well enough to be kept.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah Webb<\/strong> had a nice Punt Return of 22 yards.\u00a0 Looks like he has played himself onto the Practice Squad.<\/p>\n

Marcus Epps<\/strong> had a nice open field tackle preventing a TD.<\/p>\n

Dell Pettus<\/strong> had 7 tackles to lead the team.<\/p>\n

OK those are the highlights of the game!<\/p>\n

The Bad<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Patriots secondary made Tommy DeVito look like Tom Brady. \u00a0DeVito was 17-of-20 for 198 yards and three TDs. \u00a0If the Giants waive him, I will add him to the roster and cut Joshua Dobbs.<\/p>\n

Coach Vrabel was unhappy about being asked about the Ja\u2019Lynn Polk surgery. \u00a0\u00a0He said in his post-game press conference there are so many “rats” around here.\u00a0 Coach Vrabel was also annoyed by a pre-game interview with Scott Zolak, about possibly trading Kyle Dugger and Anfernee Jennings. \u00a0\u00a0Was it a shot by Vrabel either the players, coaches or front office leaking information?<\/p>\n

Myles Battle<\/strong> and Kobee Minor<\/strong> were picked on often.<\/p>\n

Giving up 42 points is disgusting.<\/p>\n

Ben Woolridge<\/strong> was awful, going 10-of-20 for just 82 yards while playing a complete game.\u00a0 He also threw a pick six.\u00a0 \u00a0I\u2019m not sure we should even sign him to the Practice Squad.\u00a0 Several of his passes were behind his receivers, particularly the pick six and another pass to Javon Baker<\/strong>, who had beaten his defender on a slant at the goal line.\u00a0 Baker was 0-of-2, but not his fault.<\/p>\n

The Patriots ran for 105 yards and just a 3.1 YPC.<\/p>\n

The Defense let the Giants run wild with 24 carries for 111 yards and a 4.6 YPC.<\/p>\n

The Ugly<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This whole game was ugly.\u00a0 Thankfully Josh McDaniel started to run the ball because the offense under Woolridge was pitiful.<\/p>\n

This team has no depth.\u00a0 This is what happens when you don\u2019t draft well.\u00a0 It\u2019s well documented that the drafting under Bill Belichick was bad his last few years.\u00a0 Eliot Wolf completely whiffed outside of Drake Maye<\/strong> last year.\u00a0 The trade of the 34th<\/sup> draft pick (Ladd McConkey) for Ja\u2019Lynn Polk<\/strong> and Javon Baker<\/strong> is a complete disaster.\u00a0 Wolf and staff were not prepared for the run on OTs in the draft and they tried to make a Right Tackle (Caedan Wallace) into a left tackle.\u00a0 The guy can\u2019t play, period.<\/p>\n

The Offensive line was truly offensive.\u00a0 Jared Wilson<\/strong> and Ben Brown<\/strong> played a little.\u00a0 However, none of the bubble linemen distinguished themselves and I think I would cut all of them if they can find something better on waivers or via a trade.\u00a0 I have 7 locks on the line which include Marcus Bryant and Jared Wilson.\u00a0 I think there are two open spots on the roster for Offensive Linemen.<\/p>\n

Cole Strange<\/strong> had a very bad night, and I think he has lost his spot on the roster.<\/p>\n

I was very disappointed in Vederian Lowe<\/strong>.\u00a0 Caedan Wallace<\/strong> was horrible at Guard.\u00a0 Where was Tyrese Robinson<\/strong>?\u00a0 Did Layden Robinson<\/strong> even play Thursday night?\u00a0 Sidy Sow<\/strong> was a sieve. \u00a0I think they are all gone.<\/p>\n

Did Andy Borregales<\/strong> lose the kicker battle with his wide right miss?\u00a0 His Kickoffs were bad too.\u00a0 John Parker-Romo<\/strong> didn\u2019t play.\u00a0 Does that mean he has made the team?<\/p>\n

Dell Pettus<\/strong> had a bonehead unnecessary roughing penalty.\u00a0 On the play he had the runner stopped but he turned the player around and threw him to the ground.<\/p>\n

Did Isaiah Bolden<\/strong> play? \u00a0He was not listed on the list of players that did not play.\u00a0 He had no tackles.<\/p>\n

On The Bubble Players<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alex Barth had an article on the 98.5 website about bubble players. \u00a0\u00a0In his recent article he states the following players are battling for 10 roster spots.\u00a0 I think JaMychal Hasty as a vested veteran will be released with a nod and a wink and told not to clean out his locker.\u00a0 The Pats might keep Bourne if they can\u2019t find a trade partner, then put him on IR after the 53-man roster is set.\u00a0 Then they will re-sign Hasty to add a 4th<\/sup> RB to the team.\u00a0 I have only 8 spots up for grabs.<\/p>\n
