They have an inexperienced offensive line with three young High Draft picks. Tennessee ranks 30<sup>th<\/sup> in overall Offense, 31<sup>st<\/sup> in Passing, 17<sup>th<\/sup> in Rushing and 26<sup>th<\/sup> in Scoring.\u00a0 In the Red Zone they are ranked 18<sup>th<\/sup> Cincinnati where he was Offensive Coordinator. \u00a0He helped prepare the Offensive Game plan along with Coach Zac Taylor, but it was Taylor who called the plays.\u00a0 Jerod Mayo has been criticized for not having any Head Coaching experience.\u00a0 Callahan has no Head Coaching experience and has a worse record than Mayo.<\/p>\n<p>Last week Mason Rudolph started at QB for Will Levis, who was out with Grade 2 AC Joint (Shoulder) sprain.\u00a0 Will Levis is an average at best QB in the league.\u00a0 The Ringer has Levis ranked as the 32<sup>nd<\/sup> QB in the league. \u00a0Levis was listed a Limited in practice on Thursday and will probably play on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The Titans are still a running team without Derrick Henry in the backfield.\u00a0 Tony Pollard was acquired in Free Agency from the Dallas Cowboys.\u00a0 He leads the Titans in rushing with 494 yards and a 4.3 YPC.\u00a0 Tyjae Spears is 2<sup>nd<\/sup> on the team but he has been injured and Limited on Wednesday and Did Not Practice on Thursday.\u00a0 \u00a0Levis has run for 116 yards this season.\u00a0 \u00a0Pollard has been out on both days.\u00a0 Julius Chestnut is the third back with Joshua Kelley on the Practice Squad.<\/p>\n<p>Wide Receiver is a strength of the team despite trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs for a 5<sup>th<\/sup> round pick (could be elevated to a 4<sup>th<\/sup> Round selection).\u00a0 Hopkins is 32 and in the final year of his contract.\u00a0 This is a great deal for Tennessee.\u00a0 They still have a good WR Room with Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd.\u00a0 Ridley has 22 catches on 51 targets, that\u2019s less than 50% catch rate.\u00a0 Ridley leads the team with 326 yards receiving but only has 1 TF.\u00a0 Boyd has 21 catches on 30 targets for 184 yards but hasn\u2019t reached the endzone.\u00a0 Boyd Did Not Practice on Thursday.\u00a0 Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is a 4<sup>th<\/sup> year UDFA out of Indiana who has had 38, 25 and 28 catches the last three years.\u00a0 He is 5 receptions on 10 targets this year and is expected to see a bigger role now that Hopkins is gone.<\/p>\n<p>At TE Chig Okonkwo is their leading receiver.\u00a0 He has 17 catches on 22 targets for 121 yards and a TD.\u00a0 \u00a0John Whyle is the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> TE with 13 catches on 15 targets for 130 yards and no TDs.\u00a0 Pollard is known as a very good receiver out of the backfield and has 21 catches on 29 targets for 109 yards and no TDs.\u00a0 Spears, when healthy, is also a good receiver.\u00a0 He is 12 of 12 for 76 yards and no TDs.<\/p>\n<p>The Titans hired the well-respected Bill Callahan, the father of Head Coach Brian Callahan.\u00a0 Everywhere he has gone he has transformed O-line into one of the best in the league.\u00a0 He really has his work cut out for him in Tennessee.\u00a0 They have invested high draft capital on their Offensive Line and under the tutelage of Bill Callahan I expect they will drastically improve.\u00a0 At Left Tackle they have the #7 Overall pick in this year\u2019s draft, JC Latham out of Alabama.\u00a0 The 6\u20196\u201d 335-pound Tackle has 60.8 Overall grade by PFF.\u00a0 That is good for 64<sup>th<\/sup> amongst Tackles. \u00a0That is slightly behind Patriots Vederian Lowe.\u00a0 Left Guard is Peter Skoronski a 6\u2019 4\u201d 315-pound lineman out of Northwestern.\u00a0 Skoronski was taken in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Round (#11) of the 2023 draft.\u00a0 His PFF Grade is 59.2 good for 62<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Lloyd Cushenberry was a 2020 3<sup>rd<\/sup> round pick (#83) by Denver.\u00a0 He signed on as a Free Agent with Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Cushenberry has a 55.2 rating with PFF, good for 41<sup>st<\/sup> amongst Centers.\u00a0 Dillon Radunz was a relatively unknow player the 2021 draft when he was taken in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Round (#53) by Tennessee.\u00a0 The 6\u20196\u201d 301-pound Guard played at North Dakota State.\u00a0 His PFF grade was 57.3 good for 74<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Right Tackle is a problem for Tennessee. He\u2019s one of the strongest if not THE strongest D-tackles I\u2019ve gone against. And he\u2019s not one dimensional.\u00a0 He can hit you with the pass rush or in the run game. He\u2019s definitely the heart of that defense.\u201d\u00a0 At 6\u20194\u201d 305 pounds, Simmons was a 2019 1<sup>st<\/sup> round (#19) pick out of Mississippi State.\u00a0 He is a two-time 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-Pro and 2 x Pro Bowler.\u00a0 Simmons received a 74.7 rating so far this year from PFF, good for 15<sup>th<\/sup> rank.<\/p>\n<p>The linebackers start with Arden Key, a 6\u20192\u201d 240-pound LB out of LSU.\u00a0 He was drafted by Oakland in the 2018 draft in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> round (#87).\u00a0 His PFF rating is 71.4 good for 46<sup>th<\/sup> in the league.\u00a0 He was a two-time 1<sup>st<\/sup> team All-Conference in the SEC.\u00a0 Kenneth Murray plays on the Inside.\u00a0 Another 6\u20192\u201d 241-pound backer, he was selected in the 2020 1<sup>st<\/sup> round by LA Chargers.\u00a0 He has eclipsed 100 tackles twice in his career, including last season.\u00a0 He has only played one full season in his 4 years.\u00a0 His rating is 43.3, 140<sup>th<\/sup> among ILB. \u00a0A week ago, Jerome Baker was acquired with a 5<sup>th<\/sup> Round selection from the Seattle Seahawks for Ernest Jones.\u00a0 Baker was drafted in the 2108 Draft in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Round (#73) by Miami.\u00a0 The 6\u20192\u201d 225 lb backer has a 62.7 rating from PFF, good for 70<sup>th<\/sup> in the league.\u00a0 Harold Landry starred at Boston College as a pass rush specialist.\u00a0 The 6\u2019 2\u201d 253 pounds LB was selected in the 2018 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round (#41).\u00a0 In 2021 he was selected to the Pro-Bowl.\u00a0 For his career he has 41,5 sacks despite not playing in 2022 due to injury.\u00a0 He had 10.5 sacks last season and has 5 already this year.<\/p>\n<p>The secondary features rookie Jarvis Brownlee who played for Louisville last year, the 6\u2019 190-pound cornerback was selected in the 5th round by Tennessee in this year&#8217;s draft.\u00a0 His PFF rating is 61.5 good for a 59<sup>th<\/sup> rank. \u00a0The Titans have a good pair of safeties, Amani Hooker is 5\u201911\u201d 210 pounds and was selected in the 2019 4<sup>th<\/sup> round ($119) by Tennessee out of Iowa.\u00a0 His PFF rating is 56.7 and that\u2019s good for 97<sup>th<\/sup> rank. \u00a0Quandre Diggs is 5\u20199\u201d 200 pounds, he was selected by Detroit in the 2015 draft in the 6<sup>th<\/sup> round (#200) out of Texas.\u00a0 The 31-year-old safety is a 3x Pro Bowl selection.\u00a0 His PFF rating is 70.6 for a 29<sup>th<\/sup> rank.\u00a0 L\u2019Jarius Sneed came over in Free Agency from the KC Chiefs, where he won two Super Bowls.\u00a0 The 6\u20191\u201d 182 corner had 108 tackles for the Chiefs in 2022.\u00a0 \u00a0Both Hooker and Sneed appeared on Thursday\u2019s\u00a0Injury Report as Did Not Practice.\u00a0 Roger McCreary is a 2022 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round pick (#35) out of Auburn.\u00a0 The 5\u201911\u201d 190-pound corner has a 69.1 grade from PFF, good for 88<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special NFL, and he is performing at his usual consistent self.\u00a0 He is 9 for 9 this year including 3 beyond 50 yards.\u00a0 His 40 points ranked him 27<sup>th<\/sup> in scoring.\u00a0 Ryan Stonehouse is 7<sup>th<\/sup> in punting average with 51.2 yards per kick.\u00a0 However, he only kicked 7 inside the 20.\u00a0 His Net average is only 34.6, the worst in the league. \u00a0\u00a0Jha\u2019Quan Jackson handles the return duties. \u00a0He averages 27.08 yards per Kickoff Return good for 5<sup>th<\/sup> in the league.\u00a0 On his Punt Returns, he averages 8.9 good for 14<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Patiots Marcus Jones is 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the league with a 13.3 average.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Josh Uche Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Josh Uche was a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round pick out of Michigan, and he was a healthy scratch on Sunday.\u00a0 The Patriots chose to play Ochuan Mathis, a Practice Squad player instead.\u00a0 How far has he fallen?\u00a0 He was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2026 6<sup>th<\/sup> round pick.\u00a0 That pick is in line with what the Patriots would have received in compensation for Uche signing as an Unrestricted Free Agent in 2025 (2026 6<sup>th<\/sup> Comp pick).\u00a0 That is assuming the Patriots, who will have $139M under the Salary Cap in 2025, didn\u2019t sign any Free Agents.\u00a0 That\u2019s very unlikely since they have so much money under the cap.\u00a0 Therefore, they wouldn\u2019t receive any comp picks.\u00a0 So, the Patriots receive something for nothing.\u00a0 Uche is a one trick pony that has no other pass rush move but a speed rush, and he is not that fast.\u00a0 This season he re-signed with the Patriots at a very low compensation, betting on himself.\u00a0 He lost.\u00a0\u00a0 Uche was a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round (#60) selection by the Patriots in 2020.\u00a0 The Patriots traded two 3<sup>rd<\/sup> round picks (#71 and #98) to Baltimore for the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round pick (#60) to take him (Thanks Bill).\u00a0 Those two players were DT Nnamdi Madubuike and LB Malik Harrison.\u00a0 Madubuike, was a 2022 All Pro 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team and Pro Bowl player and Harrison a part time starter.\u00a0\u00a0 Uche only started 9 games at Michigan, and that should have been a red flag. \u00a0Uche is now part of a strong contender for the post-season and possible repeat as Super Bowl champs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comings and Goings <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>LB Ochuan Mathis<\/strong> was signed to the 53-man roster to replace Uche.\u00a0 The Pats had elevated him the past two week from the Practice Squad and chose to dress him rather than Uche, which is a clear indication of what they thought of Uche before he was dealt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WR Braylon Sanders<\/strong> is a 6\u2019 194-pound wideout from Mississippi.\u00a0 Sanders was a 2022 UDFA signed by the Dolphins.\u00a0 He was waived injured and reverted to their IR this pre-season.\u00a0 The Dolphins released him on September 4<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Per NFL Draft Buzz he has the strong hands any NFL wide receiver coach and quarterback would covet.
