Wilson leads the team with 46 catches on 76 targets.<\/p>\n<p>Ty Conklin is a very dependable TE.\u00a0 He has 23 catches on 34 targets and scored a TD.\u00a0 Jeremy Ruckert will occasionally contribute a catch here and there.<\/p>\n<p>Breece Hall was expected to have a breakout season with the revamped Offensive Line.\u00a0 In the 2023 season finale against the Pats, he rushed for 178 yards and earlier this season in Week 3 he scored two touchdowns.\u00a0 For 2024 he has rushed for 324 yards (24<sup>th<\/sup>), 3 TDs and a 3.66 Yards Per Carry.\u00a0 Receiving he ranks 19<sup>th<\/sup> in the league among all receivers (32 catches) but 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in Yards After Catch (278 yards) and a 9.59 Yards Per Catch and a TD.\u00a0 \u00a0The Patriots must stop Hall if they want any chance of winning this game.\u00a0 I love the backup running back Braelon Allen.\u00a0 The rookie 6\u20191\u201d 235 pound back runs a 4.46 40-yard dash.\u00a0 The Wisconsin product had three straight seasons with 150+ carries, 10+ TDs, 5.25+ YPC.\u00a0 His 35 career TDs ranks 11<sup>th<\/sup> in Wisconsin history.\u00a0 Last season he ran for 984 yards despite missing time with an ankle injury versus Ohio State and carried just 3 times in the next game versus Northwestern.\u00a0 \u00a0Isaiah Davis is a change of pace back out of South Dakota State.\u00a0 Israel Abanikanda had a good year last season as a rookie out of Pittsburgh but hasn\u2019t got a single carry this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets spent a lot of their salary cap on the Offensive Line. \u00a0Tyron Smith was the big signee in Free Agency.\u00a0 Soon to be 34-year-old is entering his 14<sup>th<\/sup> season in the NFL.\u00a0 He has been selected 1<sup>st<\/sup> team All Pro twice, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Team All Pron three times and a Pro Bowler 8 times.\u00a0 Last season with the Cowboys Smith played in 13 games.\u00a0 Injuries have been his calling card. The previous three seasons he missed 13, 6 and 14 games.\u00a0 From 2016 \u2013 2019 he missed 3 games each season.\u00a0 It\u2019s not a question of if he will breakdown, it\u2019s when he will get injured.\u00a0 His Pro Football Focus (PFF) rating is 68.5 and ranked 37<sup>th<\/sup> amongst Tackles.<\/p>\n<p>The back up is Oli Fashanu who they drafted with the 11<sup>th<\/sup> pick.\u00a0 That would have been the Patriots draft position if they had traded with Minnesota. \u00a0They would have also received the #26 pick and probably a high pick in 2025.\u00a0 They could then have taken a QB or WR.\u00a0 John Simpson was a great acquisition by the Jets.\u00a0 Simpson was a 2020 4<sup>th<\/sup> round selection (#109) by Las Vegas out of Clemson. In 2021 he started all 17 games.\u00a0 Then was waived in December 0f 2022 and signed to Baltimore\u2019s practice squad.\u00a0 In 2023 he started all 17 games for Baltimore. In 2024 he signed with the Jets and has been outstanding.\u00a0 \u00a0Simpson has an overall grade of 74, good for 15<sup>th<\/sup> amongst all Guards.<\/p>\n<p>At Center they have Joe Tippmann an outstanding young lineman out of Wisconsin.\u00a0 He is rated at 71.4 overall good for 10<sup>th<\/sup> among Centers.\u00a0 The 6\u20196\u201d 317-pound Center is big for the position and is only 23 years old.\u00a0 He was taken in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round (#43) of last years&#8217; draft.\u00a0 Alijah Vera-Tucker is at Right Guard.\u00a0 The former 1<sup>st<\/sup> round pick (#14) of the 2021 draft out of USC.\u00a0 His overall grade is 71 and his rank is 22.\u00a0 Vera-Tucker has an ankle injury and was a DNP at practice on Wednesday and Thursday. \u00a0Right Tackle is Morgan Moses another Free Agent signee.\u00a0 The 6\u2019 6\u201d 320-pound Tackle is 32 years old.\u00a0 Moses also started 14 games for Baltimore last year.\u00a0 \u00a0His PPF rating is 60.3 and ranked 69<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Moses appeared on the injury report with a knee and was Limited Participant on both Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Defense<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Jets have one of the better Defenses in the league.\u00a0 Overall, they are ranked 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in Pass Defense with 154 .7 yards a game, but 31<sup>st<\/sup> against the run at 127.7 yards a game.\u00a0 Scoring they are ranked 11<sup>th<\/sup> giving up 20.7 points a game.\u00a0 In the Red Zone they are 16<sup>th<\/sup> at 54.5%.\u00a0 They hold their opponents on Third Down at 34.1%. good for 12<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Finally, they are 6<sup>th<\/sup> in the league in sacks with 21.\u00a0 However, they got a big boost this week with the re-signing of Haasan Reddick who ended his holdout on Sunday.\u00a0 Expect to see Reddick in the game on passing downs.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Starter<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">2nd<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">3rd<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">LDE<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Will McDonald IV<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Takk McKinley<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Braiden McGregor<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">LDT<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Javon Kinlaw<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Leki Fotu\u00a0Q<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">&#8211;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">RDT<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Quinnen Williams<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Solomon Thomas<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Leonard Taylor III<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">RDE<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Haason Reddick<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Micheal Clemons<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Eric Watts<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">WLB<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">Jamien Sherwood<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Marcelino McCrary-Ball<\/td>\n<td width=\"192\">Zaire Barnes\u00a0IR<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"46\">MLB<\/td>\n<td width=\"151\">C.J. The 2019 1<sup>st<\/sup> round (#3) pick out of Alabama is a disruptive force in the middle.\u00a0 He was selected as All Pro in 2022 and a 2-time Pro Bowl selection.\u00a0 Last season he had 62 tackles and 5.5 sacks.\u00a0 The 30-year-old Reddick ended his prolonged holdout Sunday.\u00a0 He was traded to the Jets this offseason without a contract extension.\u00a0 The two-time 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-Pro and 2-time Pro Bowl selection was drafted by Arizona in the 2017 draft in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> round (#13). \u00a0In the last 4 seasons, the Temple product has had double digit sacks each year.<\/p>\n<p>The Linebacker corps is very strong.\u00a0 Jamien Sherwood is a very underrated player.\u00a0 The 2021 5<sup>th<\/sup> round pick (#146) by the Jets has come back from a torn Achilles injury in 2021.\u00a0 He started in the first game of 2021 until his injury. \u00a0He has started 6 of 7 games this season and has 62 tackles already.\u00a0 CJ Mosely is the man in the middle of the defense.\u00a0 The former Baltimore Raven was signed as a Free Agent in 2019.\u00a0 The 32-year-old was selected as 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All Pro 5 times and Pro Bowl 5 times.\u00a0 In the last 3 years, Mosely has 150+ tackles each year.\u00a0 Quincy Williams, the brother of DT Quinnen Williams and is the Strong Side backer.\u00a0 The 2019 3<sup>rd<\/sup> round pick (#98) by Jacksonville, played for Murray State.\u00a0 \u00a0The 5\u201911\u201d 230-pound tackling machine kas had over 100 tackles each of the last three seasons for the Jets.<\/p>\n<p>The secondary is a bit banged up and has four players listed as Questionable.\u00a0 Nickel Back Michael Carter was Limited in practice on Wednesday but a Full Participant on Thursday.\u00a0 Ashtyn Davis has a concussion and hasn\u2019t been approved to practice yet.\u00a0 He was a DNP both days.\u00a0\u00a0 Tony Adams has a Hamstring injury and was a DNP on both days.\u00a0 I don\u2019t expect him to play Sunday.\u00a0 DJ Reed was a full participant at practice but is working back from a groin injury.\u00a0 PFF has him ranked as the #3 CB in the league.\u00a0 The stud in the secondary is Sauce Gardner.\u00a0 No QB in the league is throwing at him.\u00a0 They avoid him at all cost.<\/p>\n<p>The backup to Gardner is Qwan\u2019Tez Stiggers.\u00a0 If you followed my pre-draft projections, you would know about Stiggers.\u00a0 It is a great story.
