Pettus has been a starter all 5 years at Troy logging over 3268 snaps in his career.<\/p>\n

Great on route recognition and has click-and-close ability<\/p>\n

Shows good awareness, following the eyes of the quarterback and breaking on the ball with excellent quickness and aggression.<\/p>\n

Flashes intimidating attitude and will crush tiptoeing receivers across the middle.<\/p>\n

Transitions well from coverage to close on the ball. Strong hands, quick reactions for the interceptions.<\/p>\n

Pettus has good size and is a fluid mover, capable of mirroring quickness underneath<\/p>\n

Good hustle player who puts himself in the action when he’s not directly involved. Knows how to use his height and vertical leap.<\/p>\n

Charles Turner, C – LSU<\/strong><\/h3>\n

He\u2019ll appeal to man-blocking teams, and he\u2019s a fairly high-upside developmental pick when considering his value in the run game.\u00a0 Started 24 games for LSU in the SEC.<\/p>\n

Exhibits good patience in pass protection, sitting back in his set rather than leaning and lunging.<\/p>\n

Plays with natural leverage and has the strength to anchor against the bull rush. Turner also packs a violent initial punch that can stand up pass rushers.<\/p>\n

Shows a good feel for combo blocks, and Turner displays good quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level, capable of sealing the back side on reach blocks<\/p>\n

In the run game, he explodes off the line of scrimmage and consistently gets out to the second level to do damage.<\/p>\n

Finds defenders with his hands immediately and gets feet moving to engage and sustain.<\/p>\n

Only gave up 4 sacks (3 in 2022 and 1 in 2023) in those 24 starts<\/p>\n

He has an excellent feel for working off blockers and knowing how and when to counter as the play goes on.<\/p>\n

His closing burst is outstanding, and he routinely finished plays last year. He has range and toughness as a run defender, capable of dropping anchor to set the edge and showing the acceleration to chase down the backside in pursuit.<\/p>\n

He has an excellent motor and shows the stamina to last deep into the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n

Morgan flashes the ability to shoot gaps as well, and he is a threat to line up inside on passing downs.<\/p>\n

Hunter is a six-year athlete all at Georgia State with 52 career games and 22 starts.\u00a0 He played ILB this season with 93 Tackles.\u00a0 He received an invite and played in the East West Shrine game and then played in the Senior Bowl a couple of days later.\u00a0 Hunter received an invite to the combine but just did Interviews and physicals, no workouts.\u00a0 He ran the 4.94 40 at his Pro Day.<\/p>\n

Jett Bush,\u00a0 LB – Texas <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Measurables: 6\u20191\u201d 240 4.66 40<\/p>\n

He saw action in 58 games over his career but only started 6.\u00a0 The remainder were spent on Special Teams.<\/p>\n
