The New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> made sure another important piece of their offense will be on the field next season, with some news on Sunday night seeing the team get a jump on free agency.<\/p>\n

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots have agreed to terms<\/strong> <\/a>with wide receiver Kendrick Bourne on a contract extension.\u00a0 Schefter reports the deal is for 3-years and worth up to $33-million, which ensures he remains in New England for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n

The club has remained committed to the veteran, even despite the torn ACL he suffered this season that ended his 2023 campaign.<\/p>\n

New England reportedly offered him an extension following his injury, and had also made him an offer ahead of free agency, hoping to keep him in the fold.<\/p>\n

Up to this point, the two sides hadn’t reached an agreement, and it appeared that Bourne would test the market in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
