Former New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> running back Damien Harris was transported by ambulance on Sunday night against the Giants, with the new Bills back suffering a scare during the contest.<\/p>\n

Harris was injured Sunday night while carrying on a third and short play with just over 3-minutes remaining in the half, with Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke meeting him and bringing him down.<\/p>\n

After the play, Harris, who was conscious and moving his arms along with his head, was reportedly unable to get up, which immediately drew concern from his teammates.<\/p>\n

Trainers immediately went out, and he was ultimately placed on a stretcher and taken to the hospital, which given the incident less than a year earlier with Damar Hamlin, certainly had Bills fans concerned for Harris’ well being.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters after the game that Harris had regained “full movement,” although it’s unknown what his long-term prognosis is at this point.<\/p>\n

The former standout at Alabama was certainly an intricate part of the offense here prior to the arrival of Rhamondre Stevenson, and his departure this offseason seemingly left a void that the Patriots ultimately filled with Ezekiel Elliott.<\/p>\n

For now, thankfully, it appears he avoided a more serious injury, and here’s to wishing him a full recovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
