After missing time during OTAs, it sounds like New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will be out on the field when training camp kicks off.<\/p>\n

According to the Boston Globe’s Nicole Yang<\/strong><\/a>, the veteran said he\u2019ll be ready to practice next week, with Smith-Schuster reportedly arriving in town this past Monday.<\/p>\n

The former Chiefs and Steelers receiver signed a 3-year, $33-million contract this past offseason, adding a dynamic player to a receiving corps that saw Jakobi Meyers depart via free agency this offseason.<\/p>\n

Smith-Schuster had been sidelined in the spring as he’s continued working his way back from a knee injury he suffered during the Conference Championship earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The first public training camp sessions begin one week from tomorrow, with times still yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
