In the aftermath of his decision to retire from the NFL, the former Patriots safety decided to thank his fans in a big way.<\/p>\n

Over Instagram Tuesday. McCourty showed off one of the 37 billboard ads he purchased with the following message;<\/p>\n

\u201cThank You, NE!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou helped a young kid become a man, father, husband, and a 3X champ,\u201d McCourty\u2019s billboards read alongside some photos from his career.<\/p>\n

According<\/a> to the Boston Globe, the billboards are across eastern Massachusetts, so if you’re out of state, here’s what it looks like below.<\/p>\n
