For the first time since January 2020, “the squirrel” aka Julian Edelman was back in front of the Foxboro faithful this past Sunday.<\/p>\n

Edelman, who retired this spring, played his final NFL home games in front of no fans at Gillette Stadium last season so the Patriots elected to give him the proper send-off this year with a special halftime ceremony in front of a full house.<\/p>\n
