The New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> wrapped up the third and final week of organized team activities this week at Gillette Stadium.<\/p>\n

Two notable storylines for this week included the return of veteran linebacker Dont’a Hightower on Thursday after a season away from the team after opting out over COVID-19 safety concerns.<\/p>\n

Also on Thursday, tight end Hunter Henry left practice with a leg injury but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported<\/a> it was “nothing serious”.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile quarterback Cam Newton missed the full week of practice following the right hand injury he sustained last week, enabling more rep opportunities for the trio of Jarrett Stidham, Mac Jones and Brian Hoyer.<\/p>\n

“He’s doing all right. He won’t participate today but he’s getting better,” Belichick said<\/a> of Newton Thursday morning. “He’s not out there but I think he’ll be all right.”<\/p>\n
