Terrell Owens was always known throughout his career as a prolific deep threat wide receiver, but also a showmen at the same time who loved to have the cameras around him. Whether it was crying in defense of his star quarterback, or telling fans to “get their popcorn ready” T.O. always was in the spotlight for better or worse.<\/p>\n
Owens has not played in an NFL game\u00a0since 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals. The last time he stepped on a football field for a game was January 2012 for the small town Indoor Football League’s Allen (TX) Wranglers but\u00a0was released “for showing a lack of effort both on and off the field.”\u00a0The Seattle Seahawks later reached out for the 2012 NFL season by offering Owens a One-Year,\u00a0$925,000 contract, but was released in August before the season began.<\/p>\n
Fast forward to today, Owens is 42 years of age, and is once again trying to find away back to the game that made him who he was, this time trying to get noticed by the injury plagued New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> by offering up his services.<\/p>\n It all began with this Instagram post below following a fan’s attempt to get him signed.<\/p>\n\n
