Through five games in 2020, New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> wide receiver Julian Edelman has largely struggled under the new offense with quarterback Cam Newton.<\/p>\n

Although Edelman has 20 receptions for 302 yards this season, eight catches for 179 yards came in one game against the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n

In the other four games, Edelman is averaging just three receptions for 30.7 yards per game and has yet to find the end zone. He also leads the NFL in dropped passes (11) since the start of last year.<\/p>\n

Over the past three games, Edelman has just seven receptions, with six targets in each.<\/p>\n

On Instagram Thursday, Edelman remained positive with an inspirational message for himself and the team heading into Week 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can either stay here, or we can fight our way back into the light. One inch at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n
