We are at the quarter pole of the season. The Patriots record wise are exactly where I expected them to be.\u00a0 As a team they are far ahead of what I expected.\u00a0 Despite a perfect game by Russell Wilson, the Pats should have won that game at the end. \u00a0Last week\u2019s game vs the Chiefs was also winnable, with the defense holding the vaunted Chiefs offense to 20 points.\u00a0 Lets look at the next four games on the Patriots schedule.<\/p>\n
Week 5 Sun 10\/11 4:25<\/span>\u00a0 10\/12 TBD vs Denver<\/strong> \u2013 As of this writing the game is still on.\u00a0 Stephon Gilmore is now on the COVID list.\u00a0 They are severely handicapped going into this game, but may have both Gilmore and Cam Newton back.\u00a0 The Patriots are coming off a short week because they were forced to play on Monday night.\u00a0 They had to travel cross country and the Patriots put in a 22 hour work day.\u00a0 Looks like Wed, Thurs and Friday practices may be cancelled due to COVID 19.\u00a0 The game has been pushed to Monday night.\u00a0 Despite all this I expect the Patriots to win this game no matter who is at Quarterback.\u00a0 The Patriots are the better team in all three phases of the game.<\/p>\n 10\/18\u00a0 BYE<\/strong><\/p>\n 10\/25 Sun 4:25 vs SF<\/strong> \u00a0– The 49\u2019ers have had a rash of injuries to start the season including Jimmy G.\u00a0 They are 2-2 but have lost both home games, and won both road games against the lowly NY teams.\u00a0 They are getting Raheem Mostert and George Kittle back.\u00a0 They have always been a pretty good defensive team.\u00a0 This should be a big test for the Pats but I expect them to come out on top.<\/p>\n 11\/1 Sun 1:00 @ Buffalo<\/strong> \u2013 This is the game of the decade for the Bills.\u00a0 The Bills Mafia will be frothing from the mouth for days leading up to this game.\u00a0 Sorry Jills, they will be exposed for the frauds they are.\u00a0 Who have they beat \u2026 it’s a lot like the Patriots schedule to start last season.\u00a0 They are playing the little sisters of the poor.\u00a0 The Patriots defense is top 5 in the league.\u00a0 Belichick has done a masterful job with this group and they will only get better as the season goes along.\u00a0 Two dropped interceptions and a blown Interception by the officials and the Pats beat the Chiefs.<\/p>\n 11\/9 Mon 8:15 @ NY Jets<\/strong> \u2013 They are a disaster.\u00a0 \u00a0Enough said.\u00a0 The Jets will give them a hard time, they always do, but they don\u2019t have the horses to hang with the Pats.\u00a0 That\u2019s a 4 game win streak and puts them right back in the thick of the playoff race and probably atop of the AFC east.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are at the quarter pole of the season.
