The New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> came up a few yards short against the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday in a classic.<\/p>\n

The 35-30 defeat marked the Patriots first loss of the 2020 season but the effort against one of football’s elite teams put the rest of the NFL on notice moving forward.<\/p>\n

“I thought that our team competed hard throughout the game”, head coach Bill Belichick said postgame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Cam, the entire offense, the coaching staff, the defense. They made plays against us. We made some plays against them. The game went back and forth. It was a multitude of battles within the game. They won some and we won some. I thought we competed right from the opening kick off to the final whistle.”<\/p>\n
