While it remains unknown officially who is taking over the starting quarterback job in 2020, New England Patriots<\/strong><\/a> wide receiver Julian Edelman may have dropped another hint over social media Tuesday.<\/p>\n

On Instagram, the ever crafty graphic artist Edelman shared a photoshopped image of himself and Cam Newton as Superman and Batman.<\/p>\n

Newton, of course, gained the Superman nickname during his Carolina Panthers tenure, and celebrated touchdowns by mimicking a reveal of the costume under his uniform.<\/p>\n

“The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming,\u201d Edelman wrote in the post, quoting “The Dark Knight”.<\/p>\n
