Patriots<\/strong><\/a> enter 2020 with a new look under center, the defense looks to remain a key strength to the teams success post Tom Brady.<\/p>\n<p>On Instagram Tuesday, cornerback JC Jackson reminded fans Stephon Gilmore isn&#8217;t the only Patriots corner looking to have a big year defending the pass.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;More focus than ever&#8221;, Jackson wrote in an Instagram post that contained two workout photos.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CBybpW9BOHP\/<\/p>\n<p>An undrafted free agent out of Maryland, Jackson had a breakout sophomore season in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson worked his way up the depth chart to start alongside Gilmore.<\/p>\n<p>In 16 regular season games and the wild card round, Jackson did not give up a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.patspulpit.com\/2020\/5\/25\/21269448\/patriots-2020-roster-breakdown-cornerback-jc-jackson\"> single touchdown<\/a> and logged five interceptions with six pass breakups.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Pro Football Focus named Jackson the Patriots <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pff.com\/news\/nfl-most-underrated-player-on-all-32-nfl-teams-ahead-of-the-2020-nfl-season\">most underrated player.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to PFF, &#8220;since 2018, he has been targeted 29 times 20 or more yards downfield, on those plays, he has allowed just three receptions compared to six interceptions and 10 forced incompletions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jackson will enter 2020 in the final season of his three-year undrafted rookie deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JC
