It’s not often you see Bill Belichick get really irritated during a press conference, but following Sunday’s game he had one of those moments.<\/p>\n

Following New England’s win over the Cowboys, which saw Tom Brady get sacked five times in the first half and knocked around quite a bit, the Patriots were forced to adjust to a defense Dallas hadn’t shown at this point<\/a><\/strong> in the season before New England finally kicked things into gear and put the game away.<\/p>\n

Brady looked like a different quarterback in the second half, misfiring on just one pass and did a great job of battling back. \u00a0A reporter asked Belichick\u00a0about Brady’s resiliency and the fact his toughness might be a trait that’s overlooked.<\/p>\n

Belichick disagreed, stopping him in his tracks and pointing out that Brady’s one of the toughest players in the game.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t think it\u2019s overlooked,” said Belichick. \u00a0“I don\u2019t think anybody would question Tom\u2019s toughness. Who\u2019s ever done that?”<\/p>\n

The reporter explained that he felt it was something that ‘could be overlooked’<\/p>\n

“By Who?” Belichick snapped back.<\/p>\n

He then tried to follow it up with asking what this game said about Brady’s toughness.<\/p>\n

But Belichick immediately said, “Tom\u2019s one of the toughest players in the league.”<\/p>\n

Moving forward Belichick did explain that there is still some work to be done to make sure they avoid that heading into the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s a combination of things,” said Belichick. \u00a0“You know, we just have to do better job overall of our offensive execution, getting rid of the ball, getting open, and blocking. So a little bit of everything.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
