On how it feels to be in the 400 TD Club:<\/b><\/p>\n
It was a good day, so it was fun to be out there. I think everyone enjoyed it. It was a good performance by our offense, good team win. It was a good week of practice, a lot of guys made plays so it was great day out there for football.<\/span><\/p>\n On if when Danny Amendola gave away the ball if he was saying, \u201cwhat are you doing with it?\u201d:<\/b><\/p>\n [Laughs] I don\u2019t care. \u00a0It\u2019s just a ball. \u00a0We\u2019ve had a lot of fun ones, so yeah, Danny can do whatever he wants with it. \u00a0He made a great catch.<\/span><\/p>\n On what hearing the crowd chanting his name after he threw #400 meant to him:<\/b><\/p>\n Well, you know, we\u2019ve had such great support here over the years. \u00a0Obviously, hopefully we give them something to cheer about out there. \u00a0We\u2019ve got great fans and it was great. \u00a0It was a special day. \u00a0I\u2019ve been a part of so many great teams and played with so many great players and I\u2019ve always said I don’t care whether we run it in or throw it in, as long as we score points and we\u2019re winning, it makes it fun for me. So I was happy. \u00a0You know, it’s still early, there\u2019s a lot to improve on. \u00a0We get a little break here, but we come back to work and see if we can make some improvements and try to get to 4-0.<\/span><\/p>\n On if he felt they played 60 full minutes of football and the fact Gronkowski talked about Brady\u2019s preparation and how much goes into that:<\/b><\/p>\n Well, we wanted to play…last week I thought, you know, we played pretty good for the first 50 minutes and the last 10 minutes wasn\u2019t our best football. \u00a0So we talked all week about, you know, from start to finish, being at our best execution-wise, concentration and being disciplined out there and I think we accomplished that. That\u2019s what it\u2019s going to take. \u00a0I mean these are all good teams. \u00a0They\u2019re tough to beat. \u00a0Anytime you win a game, it\u2019s hard to do. So I thought we played, you know, our execution was really good today and that\u2019s what we\u2019re going to need going forward.<\/span><\/p>\n On how he prepares:<\/b><\/p>\n I think everybody, you know, coach sets a pretty high expectation for how we should work in here. \u00a0So I\u2019ve just tried to improve things over the years and be efficient at what my job is and try to go out there and do the best I can do for our team.<\/span><\/p>\n On if he wishes they\u2019d keep playing despite the bye week considering how well they\u2019re playing right now:<\/b><\/p>\n I think you take them whenever they are and, you know, I think we’ve had a good 3 weeks. \u00a0After this week we\u2019ve got a long stretch ahead. so just try to take advantage of it and use the time as we always do to evaluate where we\u2019re at and try to get ahead on some other things and try to get ready for a team like Dallas that we haven\u2019t played in a long time.<\/span><\/p>\n On the fact they\u2019re off to a fast start and if they learned anything to last year after not getting off to a last start:<\/b><\/p>\n I just think we\u2019re playing more consistently and I think that’s…the key is to just…you know, we\u2019ve got a lot of veteran players, especially on offense, and you know it comes down to our execution, how well we throw and catch and block and run and tackle and rush the passer and do all the things our coaches tell us to do. \u00a0<\/span>We put together a good game plan today and I thought went out and do a good job of executing.<\/span><\/p>\n On the fact he has over eleven hundred yards, nine touchdowns, zero interceptions through three games and the fact he\u2019s had some pretty incredible seasons and performances and whether or not he feels this is the best he\u2019s ever been playing:<\/b><\/p>\n I’m happy we\u2019re 3-0. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Here’s what Tom Brady had to say following the Patriots’ win over the jaguars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":544,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":"","jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false},"categories":[237],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1505","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-patriots-transcripts"],"yoast_head":"\n
