Apparently Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was a little bitter toward the media coming into Sunday’s game against the Patriots and following the win, he had choice words as he headed back to the locker room.<\/p>\n
ESPN’s Dianna Russini captured video of Newton as he was coming off the field after their dramatic 33-30 win over New England, where he told Russini, “Don’t ask me for no interviews now, I don’t want to do it.”<\/p>\n
“You didn’t want to do it before the game, I don’t want to do it.”<\/p>\n

Newton’s frustration reportedly stemmed from the criticism he received coming into the game about his ability to play at a high level. After beating the defending champs, Newton apparently now has his swagger back.<\/p>\n
He missed just seven passes all afternoon, connecting on 22-of-29 for 316 yards and three touchdowns during Carolina’s win over the Patriots, improving them to 3-1, tying them with the Falcons in the NFC South.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
