The New England Patriots held their second week of organized team activities (OTA’s) in Foxborough this past week.
On Friday, it was reported Cam Newton injured his throwing hand but according to Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston, a source told him the injury wasn’t serious and that Newton is “all good.” The injury could however limit Newton’s reps until training camp opens, it will be something to keep an eye on.
For now, check out some of the best social media posts shared by the players and local media during week two’s OTA sessions. The media was once again limited to only being able to attend Friday’s practice.
The Patriots will be back at it again this upcoming week before mandatory minicamp begins June 15th through the 17th to close out the offseason where we’ll be able to finally see the full roster.

Some early throws here from Mac Jones and Jarrett Stidham.
Good number of offense versus defense today. Decisively better day for the defense. Lotta check-downs from the quarterbacks, which in a passing camp practice like this one, felt like wins for the defense. pic.twitter.com/UPF6lpwVgV

Wrote about this in my observations earlier. But here’s some footage of Mac Jones working closely with Josh McDaniels in a pocket movement drill. McDaniels spent the first half of practice working 1-on-1 with Jones. #Patriots OC spending the majority of his time with the rookie. pic.twitter.com/MdDeDB5M7R
