The New England Patriots have had themselves a busy 24 hours in Foxborough.

Since the NFL Free Agency legal tampering period opened up at noon EST on Monday, Bill Belichick has acquired eight new players to fill a variety of needs across the roster. In addition, the Patriots also re-signed free agent defensive lineman Deatrich Wise.

With more than $60 million in cap space at their disposal, a league high, the Patriots front office went straight to work in an effort to improve a team that went 7-9 a year ago and missed the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
