The 2020 NFL season has been a challenging one for Julian Edelman, but as he spends time away from the field recovering from knee surgery, it has also allowed for opportunities to spend time with his young daughter.

On Instagram Monday, Edelman celebrated Lily’s fourth birthday with a posting that featured photographs of the two alongside a heartwarming birthday wish to her.

4 years gone by in a flash. Happy birthday to my baby girl, my everything, the best thing to ever happen to me, my lily bug! 🍰 🎉 🦁 🌸 #GirlDad“, Edelman wrote.
